The Full Story

Welcome to Legally Liberated! Imagine a world where your creativity thrives without limits, your ideas are protected, and your legacy is secure. That’s the vision behind this blog. I’m Krystle Oshon, and I’m thrilled you’ve found your way here—a space for entrepreneurs, creators, and innovators who dare to dream big and build boldly.

I’ve always believed that the best journeys are filled with unexpected turns. Mine began in Belize, where I was born, and took root in Los Angeles, where my family settled when I was a toddler. Growing up, I faced the challenges of being the first in my family to pursue higher education.

Attending Bethune-Cookman University, a historically black college and university founded by Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune, profoundly shaped my perspective. Dr. Bethune's legacy of education, empowerment, and service inspired me to build a legacy that uplifts others, particularly those in marginalized communities.

Before law school, I spent over a decade in public service. From managing risk at government agencies to advocating for systemic change, I honed skills that fuel my mission: empowering entrepreneurs and innovators to turn dreams into legacies.

Today, I’m a third-year law student at Penn State Dickinson Law, immersed in opportunities that align with my purpose. Working in public service and law has shown me firsthand how legal knowledge can empower entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into lasting legacies. Beyond academics, I’m honored to be part of my law school’s National Trial Team and contribute to organizations that champion creativity and justice.

Legally Liberated is more than a blog; it’s a movement. Here, you’ll find practical advice for navigating the legal landscape, protecting intellectual property, and building resilient businesses. But more than that, you’ll find stories of resilience, innovation, and the relentless pursuit of dreams.

Mentorship has been pivotal in my journey and is a cornerstone of my vision for this platform. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the wisdom and encouragement of mentors who believed in me. Their guidance inspires me to pay it forward by equipping the next generation of entrepreneurs with the knowledge to protect and amplify their ideas.

When I’m not diving into legal texts or brainstorming new initiatives, you can find me exploring the world, connecting with communities, and dreaming up ways to bridge the gap between law and entrepreneurship. Collaboration is at the heart of everything I do, and I’m always excited to work with those who share a vision for a more equitable and innovative future.

Thank you for stopping by and joining this journey. I’m Krystle Oshon, and I’m honored to share this space with you. Whether you’re here to learn, collaborate, or be inspired, I hope Legally Liberated sparks your ideas and fuels your growth. Let’s build a world where creativity knows no bounds and every legacy is protected. The future is ours to shape—one legal right and one bold idea at a time.

Her confident yet approachable expression is complemented by natural and polished makeup. The lighting is soft and evenly highlights her features.
